Short:

The easiest way I could describe him is that he’s a complete tsundere. He acts all mature and wise, like he knows better but then turns around and acts like a total child. He can be clumsy, gets “hurt” easily, doesn’t pay attention at all when around certain crystals (Which is his field of expertise) and then denies all his "flaws" like he never acts that way.

He's also veeeery talkative for a guy with a torn throat.

Extra species notes:

Crystals (on head and wings) are able to conjure illusions which cloak them in a dark shadow (to appear more scary and scare off "predators")

+ the wings can lay completely flat on them like glassfrogs on leaves.
